Good Morning! I thought i would begin with a beauty post as most of us are rearranging our routines as the cold weather creeps in. I have put together a collection of some of my favourite skincare products to use during Autumn and Winter.

In the colder months i like to use products which focus on hydrating and brightening my skin as this is what my skin needs the most. The harsh Scottish winds take the moisture out, leaving my skin feeling dehydrated, irritated and dull.

Firstly i would recommend using any of Sisley's face masks which are deeply nourishing and don't clog the skin. Try Sisley Express Flower Gel twice a week or before a night out to hydrate and brighten your skin. Ideally leave the mask to sink in for 3-5 minutes and if required remove the excess product with a tissue. The Nutritive Lip Balm from Sisley is also a worthy investment to keep your lips nourished on-the-go. I recognise that these products are expensive so i would recommend trying a sample first. (There are a wide variety of samples listed on eBay)

Never A Dull Moment is a skin brightening face polisher (with fruit extracts) from Origins. Recommended to apply 2-3 times a week if desired. It smells amazing so perfect to wake you up in the morning. Unlike other scrubs/face polishers i've tried this polisher feels more like a gel paste when applied and leaves the skin glowing and soft once rinsed off. I like to use it before i apply moisturiser or serum in the morning.

During the day i like to apply a light moisturiser which provides enough hydration but doesn't leave my skin looking or feeling greasy. Try Origins GinZing which is an energy-boosting moisturiser. Technically can be applied day and night but i prefer to apply a richer moisturiser at night. Try Clarins Multi-Active Night Youth Recovery Cream for normal/combination skin or Manuka Doctor ApiNourish Restoring Night Cream. I can't decide which moisturiser i prefer, they are both equally nourishing and leave my skin feeling smooth, hydrated and radiant.

Please let me know your thoughts about the post, products and what would constitute as your must-have skincare items for A/W.
