RESOLUTIONS 2016

Last year was certainly a great year from starting a new business to meeting new friends to purchasing and renovating our first place together to name but a few highlights. Naturally, I was also faced with a number of setbacks too but I feel as each year passes i'm finding new ways to deal with these and 2016 is no exception.

I know January can seem quite a dull month especially after the festive break and now that it has gotten a lot colder but personally, i think there is something great about starting a fresh and reflecting on where you are and where you want to be. Here are the resolutions i've set for this year...

BE MORE CONTENT AND GRATEFUL

Appreciate where i'm at, what i've achieved and what i've got rather than focusing on all the things i don't have. Keeping a note of all the things you're grateful for each day can be a great way to alleviate stress and make you smile

Read books which inspire, motivate and encourage me to become the best version of myself.  Next on the list The Slight Edge and Focus: the hidden driver of excellence

STEP OUTSIDE MY COMFORT ZONE MORE

Try out a new class or workshop and take the steps to launch my own business

SPEND TIME WITH THE PEOPLE WHO LIFT ME HIGHER

Surround myself with the people who make me feel good, are supportive and always have my best interests at heart

BE HEALTHIER

No set aims just small improvements to live healthier. Starting in the kitchen with more cooking, meal planning and upping the time at the gym. Let this be the year i finally find an exercise routine to stick to...

EXPLORE MORE

Visit a few more cities on my must-see list. Every year my boyfriend and i plan a trip together over the summer and this year looks no different with exciting plans to see friends and family in Europe

MAKE OUR PLACE OURS

Renovate our place to the way we want it one step at a time

Wishing you all a wonderful year filled with love, success and happiness x
