LAURA MERCIER EVENT. A few months ago i was lucky enough to attend a Laura Mercier beauty event. The event was essentially a makeup workshop where I was able to learn more about my skin type, Laura Mercier products but also learn how to apply my makeup better. Having hardly used any Laura Mercier products before this was a great opportunity to test products which have been so highly commended across the blogging community (think tinted moisturiser!). The makeup workshop was led by Laura Mercier's leading national makeup artist Chris Howells. I personally prefer a more natural makeup look and therefore really admired Chris' work. The top image in this post is the look that Chris created, which consisted of a very natural, dewy base but contrasted with a more heavy, bold eye. I must admit this was an adventurous option for me as i rarely wear eye makeup but loved the dramatic effect it created!

Products that i would recommend:

Anti-feathering lip pencil - good for accentuating and defining your lips for a more natural look. Buy it here.

Oil-free tinted moisturiser SPF 20 - great for creating a natural dewy finish that isn't too heavy on the skin. Buy it here.

  1. You look fab in the first photo! I like Laura Mercier make - up.

It was actually the first brand of make up that I really bought, and I wore it to my school leaver's ball, so many memories !!
